About Us

Members from the Historical Societies of Lake Placid, Avon Park, Sebring, and Okeechobee form the core of the Heritage Association.

This alliance supports all four societies while allowing for joint projects county wide.    A goal of the Heritage Association is to promote activities that foster an appreciation of history.   Our main project is the annual Heritage Festival at the Pearce Homestead.
